About this position
As an Events Intern at SENT, you will play an essential role in planning and executing SENT’s events, including the SENT Summit. You will work closely with the event planning team to support various aspects of event coordination, such as registration, sponsor management, communications, and more. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management.
Responsibilities
Assist the event planning team in organizing and executing events from start to finish
Offer administrative support such as data entry, registration tracking, and preparation of event materials
Support sponsorship efforts by conducting research, tracking sponsorship assets, and ensuring deliverables are met
Support speakers’ logistics coordination and tracking related assets
Identify local restaurants for small group dine-around dinners and handle reservation bookings
Order and manage speaker gifts, décor, and balloons for events
Support with the design of email campaigns ensuring timely delivery and appropriate content
Generate and analyze registration reports to support event operations
Assist in managing invitations and attendee applications for the Summit, ensuring a smooth process
Provide timely responses to attendee inquiries and general event-related questions
Assist with event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and organization of event materials
Help create and maintain detailed event timelines, checklists, and documentation to ensure smooth execution
Provide on-site event support, ensuring all aspects of the event run according to plan
Assist with post-event follow-up and contribute to event reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interest in event planning and management
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
Previous event or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Hours
This position is fully remote.
We are seeking a part-time Events Intern who can commit to flexible hours, with the opportunity for increased availability as we approach the SENT Summit in September. Initially, the role will require approximately 10-15 hours per week, with hours increasing closer to the event date to meet the demands of event planning and execution.
The internship is anticipated to take place from March to September 2025; however, we are open to considering a later start date if necessary.
Additionally, our hope is for the intern to be onsite for the September event to provide on-the-ground support
Compensation
The Events Intern will be given a stipend commensurate with experience. If the internship is for academic credit, SENT can assist with any paperwork needed to provide academic credits. The intern may also receive a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship.
