Fellowship Coach


Position’s Core Function

The SENT Fellowship Coach uses his or her own gifts and SENT’s framework and curriculum to actively build and lead SENT Fellowship cohorts of Catholic business leaders to build like the Saints. 

Success is when:

  1. SENT Fellows create and follow a rule of life that integrates their business and personal lives, 

  2. Fellows design their businesses according to Catholic teaching and their rule of life, and 

  3. Fellows are growing their businesses in line with these principles.

Logistics

  • Location: Remote coaching sessions via Zoom

  • Timing: Starting every quarter

  • Commitment: Build and lead one or more cohorts of SENT Fellows (Catholic business leaders) in twice-monthly group calls and individual sessions.

  • Experience: 5+ years in business and leadership coaching

  • Compensation: Competitive market rate

The Coach’s leadership responsibilities include the following:

  • Guide SENT Fellows through the curriculum and invite Fellows to go deeper in their spirituality.

  • Foster a sense of community among the Fellows, leading them out of the work week to a place of prayer, vulnerability, and deeper thinking.

  • Support the Fellows and hold them accountable in setting a vision for their life and business over the year -- guiding them to progress toward this vision to make it a reality. 

    • Includes occasional one-on-one calls when needed to help members achieve traction

  • Support member-led  strategy sessions with a goal of Fellows integrating their faith in their business and meeting the objectives they envisioned with the group at the start of the year. 

    • Includes offering to meet one-on-one to prepare an effective strategy session to meet desired objectives.

Time Commitment: 

Building Cohort: 20 - 80 hours for first month

  • Onboard with SENT team = 6 hours

  • Recruit Fellows = 20 - 80 hours

Running Cohort: 5-6 hours per month

  • Facilitate two 90-minute group sessions per month = 3 hours

  • Prepare Fellows for their Strategy Sessions = 1-2 hours

  • Available office hours for Fellows = 1-2 hours

  • Potentially build additional Fellowship cohorts = ongoing

Key Metrics of Success:

  • Retention of Fellows from the start of the year through renewal the following year

  • Fellows are engaged in sessions, measured by

    • Attendance (camera on)

    • Participation in the discussion

  • High NPS Score from Fellows’ polls on the coach and sessions

  • Members indicate they have been supported in hitting the goals they set at the beginning of the year.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business and leadership coaching including group facilitation

  • Passionate about the Catholic faith and the call to holiness

  • Growth Mindset, willing to take feedback and improve
