About this position
As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key role in enhancing SENT’s offerings—Essential, Local, and Fellowship—by researching best practices and proposing actionable improvements. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research to discover innovative ways to engage members and deliver value while developing effective growth strategies.
Additionally, you will identify potential candidates who align with SENT’s target audience using platforms such as LinkedIn, AngelList, and industry-specific networks. Your insights will be crucial in helping us expand our reach and impact.
Responsibilities
Conduct research to identify industry best practices and trends relevant to SENT’s offerings
Propose recommendations for enhancing SENT’s programs
Formulate and refine growth strategies
Identify potential individuals that align with SENT’s target audience
Conduct a competitive analysis to understand how SENT’s offerings compare with those of similar organizations
Preferred Qualifications
Strong ability to conduct in-depth research and analyze data to identify trends and best practices
Ability to think critically and creatively to propose improvements and growth strategies
Proactive attitude and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks
A genuine interest in business development and a desire to learn about strategies for member engagement and organizational growth
Familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn, AngelList, and industry-specific networks is a plus

Hours
This position is fully remote. Preference is for the intern to be available full-time.
The internship will take place from June to August/September 2025.
Compensation
The Business Development Intern will be given a stipend commensurate with experience. If the internship is for academic credit, SENT can assist with any paperwork needed to provide academic credits. The intern may also receive a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship.
